Gluten Free French Toast
Ingredients
- Gluten-Free Bread
- 2 organic eggs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- bananas, berries, or other fruit (optional)
- 100% natural maple syrup
Instructions
- Spray a medium fry with olive oil or your favorite cooking oil and place it over medium heat.
- In a medium-sized bowl, beat the eggs until they are completely combined.
- Add the almond milk, vanilla and cinnamon and mix well.
- Once the pan is hot, take one slice of your favorite gluten free bread and dip it into the egg mixture, making sure you coat both sides.
- Place the slice of bread in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, continuously checking to make sure it doesn't burn.
- Once you get a golden brown color, flip the slice of bread to cook the other side.
- Remove the bread and repeat the process until you run out of the egg mixture.
- Top with sliced fruit and/or 100% natural maple syrup.

Tips: Keep your dipping station close to your pan to avoid a messy cleanup.
This recipe makes about 5-6 pieces of french toast, depending on the size of your bread, but you can alter the recipe to make more or less.
This french toast also goes really well with my Homemade Blueberry Syrup!
