Air-popped popcorn is a great snack for any time of the day, It’s healthy and filling and a great way to snack mindlessly without regretting it later. However, not everyone has an air popper, so this delicious snack may seem impossible to make. But don’t turn to those store-bought, greasy bags full of chemicals just yet. You can make your own!
Air-Popped Popcorn
Ingredients
- Popcorn kernels (preferably organic)
- Brown, paper lunch bag
- Grass-fed butter, sea salt, garlic powder, or any other seasoning you like
Instructions
- Start with 1/4 cup un-popped popcorn kernels and place them in the brown paper bag.
- Lay the bag on its side fold up the opening 3-4 times.
- Place the bag in your microwave and set it for about 2 1/2 minutes.
- Listen for the kernels to start popping and stop the microwave when the popping starts to slow down and you have a 2-3 second pause between pops.
- Dump the popped popcorn out of the bag into a large bowl and top with butter, salt and/or whatever topping you like.
