Easy Honey Almond Granola

Granola is a great snack that gives you tons of energy, and it can be a healthy and delicious topping for your favorite yogurt! But many grocery store brands are loaded with sugar and preservatives. Easy Honey Almond Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup grass-fed butter or coconut oil, melted
  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs. chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup-1 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 315 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Spread oats in an even layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the oats with the melted butter or coconut oil.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the oats.
  6. Drizzle the honey over the oats.
  7. Sprinkle the chia seeds and sliced almonds over the oats so they stick to the honey.
  8. Bake the oat mixture for 20 minutes and flip the oats with a spatula to prevent burning.
  9. Bake for another 10 minutes and remove from the oven to cool. Granola will still be soft after removing it from the oven but will harden as it cools.
  10. Enjoy!
