Frozen Banana Bites

Frozen banana is a great staple for a number of healthy desserts. This is one of the easiest dessert recipes for any weeknight. With just a little prep work, you can have a delicious, healthy treat that hits the spot!

Frozen Banana Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1/2-1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1-12 oz. bag of dark chocolate chips
  • toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Slice bananas into 1/4 in. thick slices.
  3. Take about a tsp. of peanut butter and put it between two of the banana slices, and use a toothpick down the middle to hold the "banana sandwich" together.
  4. Put the dark chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds at a time until chips are softened.
  5. Stir the chocolate chips into a smooth liquid.
  6. Dip the banana sandwiches into the chocolate either partially or entirely and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Fill the baking sheet and freeze the bananas until chocolate is set.
