Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Who doesn’t love pumpkin season?! I look forward to it every fall when pumpkin flavored everything comes out, but by the end of the season, you’re so tired of pumpkin that you can hardly look at a pumpkin pie by Christmas. Well, I don’t think pumpkin should just be reserved for the fall. After all, pumpkin is so good for you, you really should be eating it all year long! This smoothie is a great option any time of year!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 cup unsweetened, vanilla almond milk
  • 1 Tbs. chia seeds
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 3-4 drops liquid stevia, or 3 scoops powdered stevia
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients together for a delicious smoothie for any time of year!

Tips: I recommend layering your ingredients with the ice closest to the blender blade. That way, you don’t end up with large ice chunks in your smoothie.
